Assignment Requirement
1) Students are required to critically appraise the article using the JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist for Randomised Controlled Trials.
2)The following criteria should be included in your written assignment (Refer to the assignment rubrics for more details): –
- Purpose of the critical appraisal.
- Critical appraisal of methodological quality.
- Appraise & determine the extent to which the paper has addressed the possibility of bias in its design, conduct and analysis.
- Identifies strengths/limitations (weaknesses) of the appraised article about its methodological quality.
- Include/ exclude/ or seek further information before deciding to include the synthesis paper. Accuracy and explicit justification.
