Assignment Instructions

1. Select a Case: Choose one complex, de-identified psychiatric case from your current or previous clinical experience. The case should reflect a multifactorial presentation (e.g., comorbid medical or psychiatric conditions, cultural factors, ethical dilemmas, or treatment adherence challenges).
2. Create a Clinical Flowmap (Decision Tree or Mind Map): Use Canva, Lucidchart, MindMeister, or PowerPoint SmartArt to design a visual decision map that clearly illustrates your advanced reasoning process. Your flowmap should include:

Clinical presentation and key assessment findings Differential diagnosis and final diagnosis rationale Evidence-based treatment decisions (psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, or integrated care) Ethical and legal considerations (e.g., confidentiality, involuntary treatment, informed consent) Cultural, lifespan, or social determinants of health adaptations Expected outcomes and follow-up considerations 3. Write a 600–750-word Rationale: Accompany your flowmap with a concise written analysis that explains why you made each major decision. Discuss:
