- Research insurance coverage in your state–overall coverage, non-elderly population, and children. Compare that with coverage of the same groups (non-elderly and children) who are below the federal poverty level (FPL).
- Research the financing of insurance coverage for non-elderly and children above and below the FPL. Where does the payment come from for these forms of insurance coverage? (For example: How is private insurance paid for? How is Medicaid paid for?)
- Write a 2-page summary of the information you reviewed. Use these bullet points as headings:
