This week’s assignment asks you to consider this scenario: You are working as a counseling faculty member in a university, and you must develop protocols for admissions interviews and supervision of future students in your online master’s program. Compose a three- to four-page paper discussing the following items: Identify and describe the ACA Codes of Ethics as it relates to the role of gatekeeping. Based on your understanding of the ACA Code F.7(a-i) – Responsibilities of Counselor Educators, develop nine interview questions (three each for knowledge, skills, and dispositions) to assess knowledge, skills, and dispositions related to counseling you believe incoming students should have to be successful in the program and as a professional counselor. Questions should be open-ended (not yes or no), and be sure to provide a brief rational/justification for each of the questions.
